I find it important to include as it highlights many of the broader structural and historical issues that have affected vaccine production and distribution which were not part of initial discussions about COVID-19 when it first began to spread last year. In the 1 year+ since the first transmission, we are now seeing many of the familiar geographic lines settling in to determine who does and who doesn't get access to the vaccine.
